National Museum of Nature and Science

National Museum of Nature and Science has a wide range of exhibits from dinosaurs to astronomical telescope. You will never have enough time there. Better to check floors to look around in advance in accordance with your kid's interest.
They are now having a special exhibition " Leaps in Evolution" till Oct 4,2015.

Get there and around
5 minutes walk from JR Ueno Station, Park Exit,10 minutes walk from Tokyo Metro Ginza Line/Hibiya Line Ueno Station and 10 minutes walk from Keisei Line Keisei Ueno Station. 

Opening times
9:00 to 17:00 (Visitors are admitted until 30 minutes before closing time.)
Hours are sometimes extended for special exhibitions and in busy periods such as the summer and the Golden Week holidays.
Closes every Monday (If Monday is a national holiday, the Museum is open Monday and closed the following Tuesday.),year-end/New Year holiday (December 28 to January 1)

High-school students and younger  Free
